THE COMPENDIUM OF DENTAL IMPLANTS

With the progress of time, technology has also increased in every sphere. Dentistry is also one of the spheres where innovation has not just simplified the dental treatments but have reduced the treatment cost as well. In the older times, root canals and bridges were common dental procedures. The problem with these procedures is that they require the removal of healthy adjacent teeth and the dentures were unstable. These problems related to natural teeth are eliminated with Dental Implants. The new dental procedures are very effective owing to their construction and simplicity in implementation. The latest in this field is immediate load implantation, which is a technique used for bypassing the bone area (that may be weak), instead, it makes use of the cortical bones that are present below the cancellous bones. Some of the implants that fall under this category are Zygomatic Implants, Pterygoid Implants, BECES EX – advantage extraction socket, BECES N, BECES – bicortical screw, and Koc Plus.

What Are The Benefits Of Immediate Load Implantation?

Immediate load implantation or cortical bone implantation is a long term solution for the patients. There is no chance of resorbing as there is high stability in the cortical bones. There is also no need for any bone augmentation procedure like bone grafting or sinus lift. This process has a very high success rate with more than 98% of patients being successfully treated.

Choose Simpladent India For The Latest Implants And Courses

Our company is based in New Delhi and is working on the precepts of choosing strategic positions for the placement of implants and loading them before the process of remodelling. Because of this process, known as immediate functional loading protocol, one procedure is completed within 72 hours. We are a dependable and trustworthy company, which is importing these types of implants such as Basal Implants / Strategic ® Implants. We are also the sole distributor of these implants of Ihde Dental Gmbh and Simpladent Gmbh Implants in India. We are helping all the dentists in India with the best implant training so that they stay updated with the newest technology in this industry.

FEW MYTHS AND FACTS OF DENTAL IMPLANTS

The dentistry industry has seen tremendous progress in the past ten years. This has resulted in the introduction of the latest technology in dental implants and other procedures. Today, if you are suffering from a dental problem and require a tooth implant, then there are solutions that will give you complete chewable strength within 3 days of implantation, in comparison to the conventional ones that took a minimum of 6 months to achieve the same results. These innovative dental implants are called Pterygoid Implants, which are also known as Single Piece Implants as they are implanted in a single procedure.

Now let us have a look at a couple of Myths and Facts about dental implants.

Fact 1: Formal Surgical Training On Humans Is Not Needed By The Doctors For Placing Dental Implants.

Among the various implant manufacturers, there are a few who conduct educational seminars for doctors, who desire to perform a dental implant procedure. This seminar is conducted on a single weekend and in just 2 days, the doctors participating in it are provided with a Surgical Training Certificate. This certificate states that the participant doctors have received formal training in surgical implant dentistry. This makes them eligible to perform a dental implant procedure on humans. Such types of seminars provide training on plastic jawbones rather than on human subjects.

FACT 2: So Many Implants, So Little Time

In the past decade, the competition in the dental implant industry has increased tremendously. There have been cases when the patents have expired on those devices that have proven efficiency for human use. In such cases, a few implant manufacturers simply duplicate or copy the designs of these devices along with doing a minor change in them. Often known as clones, these duplicate implants are marketed at highly reduced fees which makes them a popular choice among various dentists. The manufacturers who duplicate the implant designs also provide literature however it is also copied from the original implant manufacturer.

Simpladent India is providing dental implant training and carrying out dental implant procedures on the patients using flapless Pterygoid Implants. For more information, contact +91 9711150803 or mail at info@simpladent.in.

Dental Single piece Implants and their benefits

A single piece implant is a part of dental implants in which the endosseous and abutment portion consists of one unit. The one-piece implant was initially designed to address the structural weakness issues of the two-piece implant. The one-piece implant increases the prosthesis's strength plus stability by removing the weakest point of the two-piece implant, the abutment interface. Additionally, the one-piece implant is an efficient choice for patients' otherwise surgical sites where there is not sufficient bone to correctly support a prosthesis. After imaging plus a careful assessment of the patient's dentition and fundamental bone, the dental practitioner would determine which kind of implant would best fit the patient's needs?

Benefits of Single Piece Implants / One piece Implants (OPI):

Mechanical durability: The OPI possesses lots more mechanical sturdiness since the implant cross-section is sturdy compared to Two-piece implants(TPI). As there is the removal of abutment screws in OPI, there is ultimately no space in the implant that offers sufficient strength to OPI even though the smaller diameter as compared to Two-piece implants(TPI).

Marginal bone loss: Single piece implants show minimal bone damage since it does not have any micro gap among implant plus abutment. Therefore, the lack of alveolar bone around the implants is reduced since it cannot have bacteria. Researchers Hermann JS, Broggini N, and Archie A. Jones concluded that the one-piece implant system does not have any micro-gap thus will not show bacterial colonization at the FAI (Fixture Abutment Interphase ) as well as little initial bone resorption as compared to the two-piece system.

The field of implantology is perpetually evolving, and one-piece implants are becoming accepted. One-piece implant design has a high cumulative implant survival rate in addition to healthy marginal bone levels.
